The empire film review is broken down into simple information that is released this tells the reader the date the film was realised. certificate this is the certificate the fil has, director this is the director of the film, cast this is all the main actor, run time this is how long the film is in minutes this would help the reader as they may be wondering how long the film is as some people dont like short or long films so tehy could see if it is worth watching from their point of view. Lastly the plot is great as the reader can have a quick glance at what the film is about and if its worth reading on in the review or worth watching as th reader woudl knowif the film is thier taste of film. This simple information is useful for teh audiance to glance at quicly without reading the whole review to decide if it is worth for them to read the rest of the film review. There is also a picture of the film poster to show a visual stimulase for the reader to consider thier interesst in the film.
Firstly the magazine explains the complicated and unappealing genre that causes the audience to be weary and this has caused the genre to die out. The magazine also compares the film to versatile movies such as the dark knight and explains these films are much more appealing to the audience, however as Down terrace directed by Ben Wheatley mad bold return and gives hope for the gangster genre. Then the magazine reviews the film without giving away to many spoilers and then explains what is good and what is bad about the film. This then leads to a verdict and the ‘animal kingdom’ got 4 starts out of 5 this means it’s a great film but isn’t perfect but it is worth watching and it gets under the audience skin. The magazine also includes a poser of the film to allow th audiance to recognise the film forma visual persective if they don know the name the image also explains some of the storyline and gives the audiance some understanding of the setting anc charicters in the film.
