He can born in east London, his dad left his mum at pregnancy and he hasn’t ever seen him. He always stayed out of trouble and behaved well at school and stayed away from the crime and troubled friends that tried to bring him down with them. However this isolation did mean he stayed at home a lot and didn’t go out a lot only with family due to this he started playing video games. This habit quickly turned into an addiction that turned his life around he would skip school and never do his work and therefore dropped out of college. His mum quickly realised her trying to keep her son out of trouble caused bigger problems and tried to implement limited time on the gaming device but this never worked as he would just attack his mother and this would cause vicious fights where his mum would be left bruised and in a blood bath, this left him as an outcast in the family bu as he has no where to stay he still lives in the same household as his mum. He doesn’t communicate to friend or family face to face its always just online, texting, calls or virtual conversations such as facetime or Skype, he is deluded from realist and is living in his own virtual world. This made him quiet and shy and emotionless that took the life he had when he was a child. Josh sees gaming as the centre of the world and it makes his world go around however they make him angry and stressed and this sometimes causes violence.

Carol is josh’s mother she was bon in essex but moved to London at 12 just before starting secondary school. she brought josh up by herself at the age of 16 as josh’s dad left her when he found out he was pregnant, she put everything into raising josh and giving him a good life this did mean she had to work two day jobs and one night job to keep the food on the table for them and provide for them in the early life. When josh was 7 Carol got a promotion to work in an office in London due to her hard work. With his promotion josh got spoiled and his mum bough him anything he wanted to make up for the har upbringing he had and she tried to be the best mum in the world. Due to this josh had the latest technology ranging fom ipods, phones TV’s and game consoles and this is what got josh into gaming and virtual reality.

Paul was born and raised in Manchester where he was brought up in the deprived urban estate in Manchester. Both of his parents were unemployed and he had a hard upbringing where he was expected to steal food for his parents and younger brother.

Through this at age 12 Paul fell into the wrong crowed and joined a gang where him and his fellow gang would conduct in robberies that would bring much bigger amounts of money and his family supported him to conduct in such crimes that sometimes ended in violent.

However at the age of 16 Paul was introduced to a gun dealer that was his friends brother, after having some money saved for a car he spent that money to purchase a gun to conduct in armed robberies that he hoped would bring more money for him and his family. However in his first job with the firearm the police caught him with the weapon on the city streets of Manchester while he was on his way to rob a bank.The court found him guilty of section 5 carrying an illegal firearm in a public place, due to this he was sentenced to two years in a youth offenders. While in this youth prison he gained a lot of resects from everyone and when he left he went straight t the top of his gang. Two years later his friend’s brother successfully snuck in 200 firearms into the country.His friends brother asked him to sell these weapons in the south of England to gangs in London while he remained in the north selling in Manchester, Liverpool and Newcastle. Since then Paul has been selling firearms in London for 4 years and has got himself a big flat in London. He hasn’t talked to his family since he was arrested at 16.
