Title:

 How indoctrinated are you?

Paragraph one: Indoctrinated begins with a standard guy coming back from college, he seems like a regular guy but does look like a geek. When he gets home it becomes obvious that the genre of the film has something to do with technology as he is surrounded by it and it is apparent gaming is dominating the scene.

Paragraph two: The boy seems disconnected from the real world but due to the evolving world his view of being connected is disengaged from the real world. This puts him in a bubble of virtual reality that he just can’t get out off. Through the film his view of reality begins to catch up virtual reality always takes over and them begin to intertwined and this results to destructive problems later on.

Paragraph three: This film highlights how we have become enslaved by the very own technology we have created, it shows how we have been indoctrinated to see the positives but it has taken away from human interaction and increased the amount of time people waste, when they could be doing something worthwhile. There were good effects used that increased the cinematography of the film.

Paragraph four: Furthermore the story highlighted the theme and the message behind the film very well and in a interesting manner that engaged the audience and was entertaining. The setting was relevant and provided a city and urban feel to the film that was relevant to the genre or action / crime. Lastly the music was a great attribute to the film and allowed the audience to feel uptight and tense in relevant audience, it also created relevant emotions throughout the film.

Paragraph five: The film in some cases kept it difficult to understand the storyline as it had a limited time of five minutes due to this the storyline seems cramped and rushed in some places. Furthermore it seems that there was not enough professional equipment as the film angles and tracking shots did look amateur in some places.

Paragraph six: some of the settings used were inappropriate and betters scenes could have been used for this and in some aspects it does take away from the film. Furthermore there may have been too much music and not enough character dialogue.

Paragraph seven: The main character who’s life is portrayed through the film is Josh, he played the role of the character well however did not fit the look of a conventional geek, this may reflect that its not only geek who area addicted to technology but it can be anyone.

Paragraph eight: Carol who is the mother of Josh plays the role very well an reflects a typical mother who is struggling to bring up her child as a single mother, as she feels it is her fault he does not have a mother she spoils him with endless games and social devices. She fits the story very well.

Paragraph nine: The film is not just a classic action/crime shoot and run film it reflects a big social issue that is beginning to get out of control. The film will change your view of your favourite games or social media devices and show you how the world has become a antisocial selfish world.
